This species is found over a very broad area, but is uncommon across the whole range. It does occur with multiple species of Nothofagaceae host trees, though, and is not thought to be under significant threat. It is assessed as Least Concern.

Geographic range

This species is found over a very broad area in Patagonia, where Nothofagus species occur.

It is thought to be uncommon.
