Taxonomic notes

The species is characterized by granulose UV+ pale yellow thallus, excipulum complete, non-inspersed hymenium, hypothecium I+ blue turning to violet, K+ green, 7-9-septate ascospores.

The species is only known by single collection, growing on the bark of IUCN red-listed (EN) mangrove species, Heritiera fomes Buch.-Ham
