Eichleriella shearii is characterised by ressupinate basidiomata, hymenophore first smooth then covered by sterile spines, hyphae with clamps, hyphal structure monomitic, often two-celled basidia, and cylindrical distinctly curved basidiospores (Malysheva and Spirin, 2017).
